Attached to this email is a handy “Cheat Sheet” with information on the apps and websites you may need throughout the school year. From classroom assignments and grades to bus information, school communications, lunch accounts, and more, we’ve put everything together in one place so you can easily find what you need.
We recommend saving this cheat sheet somewhere convenient — we think you’ll be referring back to it throughout the year!
Get Involved with PTS!
We believe parent and family involvement makes a difference, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to get involved at West Point!
Also attached is our Volunteer Clearance Cheat Sheet, which walks you through the steps to obtain the clearances required to volunteer at school.
Already have your clearances? Be sure to check the expiration dates! Volunteer clearances are good for 5 years, so you may already be cleared without realizing it.
Kindergarten Lunch Volunteers Needed!
Speaking of volunteering…we need some extra hands to help our incoming kindergarten students during their lunch period as they get settled into their new school routine.
If you already have your volunteer clearances, we'd love your help!

We can’t wait to see everyone at Open House! Members of the PTS will be available to answer questions, help you get connected, and talk about all the exciting things we have planned for the upcoming school year.
Kindergarten Open House: August 18 5:30 pm-7 pm
1st-5th Open House: August 17 5 pm-7 pm
And this year, we're making an exciting change!
Our monthly PTS meetings will be open to ALL family members. Whether you are a longtime PTS volunteer, a brand-new West Point parent, or simply want to learn more about what we do, you are welcome to attend!
We want the PTS to be a place where families feel welcomed, heard, and involved. Your ideas, questions, and participation are what make our school community stronger.
